3/10/10—CSDVRS sent a letter to Joel Gurin, Chief of the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau offering comments on the Feb. 25, 2010 declaratory ruling on compensability of certain types of VRS calls.  CSDVRS said it supports the FCC’s efforts to eliminate fraud in the VRS industry, but also said there are issues where further interpretation is necessary.  CSDVRS urged the FCC to ensure the declaratory ruling is prospective, and does not apply retroactively.
