Deaf Hoosiers lost two games to University HS girls 49-13 and boys 53-32. We recognized Seniors night. Mr. And MissOriole go to Tony Long and Jasmine Jeter both freshmen. Over 400 people watched the games and Seniors getting awards..

ISD Champs at Midwest Academic Bowl
Five ISD High School smart students and two coaches attended the Annual Gallaudet Midwest Academic Bowl games with Oklahoma, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin at Oklahoma Deaf School on February 4-6. Deaf Hoosiers beat them all and the team will go to Gallaudet University for the 2010 Academic Bowl National Championship on April 24-27, 2010. For more information, go to

In order for a school corporation to preserve and protect instructional programs and learning opportunities for all students (including class sizes, curriculum, or program offerings) and to prevent school employee layoffs, a school corporation shall take all reasonable actions. Since Governor Mitch Daniels is planning to cut $300 million of the state budget that support the funding of public school in the state of Indiana.
