June 4 to 15 - Summer School - How to Preserve Jacobs Hall by researching resources in Core Content Science, English, Arts of Humanities and Social Studies, Technology, Careers
Saturday, June 9 - Great American Brass Band Festival - Open House at Jacobs Hall Museum for visitors 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
MONTH: JULY
Friday morning , July 13 - 8:30 am to 12:00 pm - Open House/Tour for KAD 41st Convention - Display of KAD 's previous Conventions group pictures
Friday and Saturday -KAD Convention- Workshops, booths, General Meeting
Friday night- July 13th- ASL Storytelling at KAD Convention- Brady Hall
Saturday night-July 14th KAD's Banquet
July 22-28, 2007 25th Annual Deaf Youth Sports Festival -at the University of
Louisville, Kentucky - Setup the booth/display about Jacobs Hall 150th Anniversary
July 24- August 4, 2007- “ Raintree County Festival” -50th Anniversary
Jacobs Hall Committee members who would like to volunteer to walk through the festival and pass out brochures of Jacobs Hall Museum.

Friday, August 3 - Jacobs Hall Social - Brady Hall MP - 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Saturday, August 4 - KSDAA's 35th Annual Picnic - 9 am - 6 pm & Open House Jacobs Hall - 1:00 pm - 3:45 pm
Saturday, August 11 & 12 - Western KY Deaf Picnic 60th Anniversary
Sunday, August 12 KSD Registration with parents/students- Set up the display/booth in Lobby Room for the parents and students to see the 150th Anniversary Jacobs Hall Museum (Open House-Tour for parents and students). Mr. McGaughey will handle this. Set up and display the Jacobs Hall Museum booth
Monday, August 13- KSD Kick Off Ceremony-guest speakers to share what it was like on the first day of school back in 1800's.
Thursday, August 16 to 26, 2007 - State Fair - Set up Booth about Jacobs Hall Museum (KSD students who live in Louisville can learn to volunteer with alumni volunteers at the booth on weekends)
Saturday, August 25 Celebration of KCDHH 25th Anniversary: Set up the booth/ display of their timeline of events
MONTH:SEPTEMBER
Saturday, September 8 - ASL Expo at Louisville, KY
KSD's Harris' Classics- Homecoming Soccer/ Volleyball games
Saturday, September 15 - Historic Constitution Square Festival
Alumni, staff, parents, students who would like to volunteer in distributing the 150th Anniversary Jacobs Hall Museum Flyers and they will dress up in 1800's style. We encourage the people to come to Jacobs Hall Museum Open House. Have a volunteer to represent John Jacobs to ride on a horse.
Saturday, September 17-21 for National Deaf Awareness Week - Technology, Education, Interpreter services, Deafestival Information, etc Booths (Hamilton Relay, Sorenson, Mental Health Services, KCDHH, etc) Open House by appt for local schools to tour the Jacobs Hall Museum and classrooms/departments. Information - Check with Input with Elementary, Middle School, and High School staff for involvement in research and display their works.
September 23 - 29 - International World for the Deaf - Deaf Awareness (Technology awareness, VP set up to communicate with deaf people around the world) International Cultural Exchanges among the students
MONTH:OCTOBER
Saturday, October 6 - Perryville Re-enactment (Set up a tent- booth about Jacobs Hall Museum) Wagon with horses, have video movie of the play and present it at the booth)
MONTH-NOVEMBER
November 1st-16th-KSD campus wide students research Hall of Fame Honorees, KSD educators in early days, Identity Game, drama, etc.
Have some students be able to lead the tour in Jacobs Hall after the students have researched what information to share with. (interpreters and teachers supervision is required with set up time and dates.
Friday, November 16 - KSD's Pancake Day - 6:30 am to 2:00 pm
Saturday, November 17 - Hall of Fame Tour at Jacobs Hall Museum (10:00 am to 2:00 pm)
2:30 to 3:30pm- Alumni presents the Hall of Fame Inductees at Walker Hall or Grow Hall
3:30 pm to 6:00 pm 150th Anniversary Jacobs Hall Museum Reception
Invite 9 former committees set up in 1998, KY Standard Editors, KSD Administrators.
MONTH-DECEMBER
December 3 to 7 - National Deaf Heritage Week
Thursday, December 6 - Gallaudet/Clerc Banquet (need to check for correct date
Drama in Deaf History-Mr. Jacobs rode on the horse to study at ASD.
Saturday, December 8 - Christmas Reception (open to the public to KSDAA and visitors) - 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Thursday, December 20, 2007 - The Annual Christmas Reception for KSD Faculty, Staff and Administrators - 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
During the week of November 16th have all staff and students wear 1800's style for one week (have a letter sent out later to parents and staff to be aware of making an outfit, or borrow one. Classes divided (oral, sign language for one hour, deaf history scavenger hunt activity.
