Letter: Poor choice in KSD headline
Dear Editor,
In response to the article titled "KSD rent too high for local schools," in the July 10 edition of The Advocate-Messenger, Kentucky School for the Deaf is not charging the rent. It is the state Finance Cabinet that owns KSD, operated by the state Department of Education under the control of the Kentucky Board of Education.
The article should have been titled "State rent too high for local schools." KSD is not to blame here and the article should not have been titled in a way that makes KSD look like the bad guy. At the very least you should offer an apology to KSD.
