All friends and colleagues who have known Rochelle “Shelly” B. Franks, who departed this earth on May 23, 2008, are invited to a memorial service on September 18, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at her alma mater, Gallaudet University, 800 Florida Avenue NE, Washington, DC. The memorial service and reception will be held at the Peikoff Alumni House.

Several guest speakers will share Shelly’s life and her accomplishments.  A video of Shelly’s life will also be shown. Shelly’s favorite drinks and desserts will be served after the service.

The memorial service is made possible through collaboration of several organizations in which Shelly was actively involved: DHHIG, NVRC, and MWADB.
