Another Event Taking Place in Conjunction with the U.S. Deaf Golf Championships – Deaf Adult Golf Clinic
Rob Strano - Nationwide Tour Professional to provide lecture & demonstration. Come one, come all!!!

Rochester, New York – Greater Rochester Deaf Golf Association (GRDGA) is pleased to announce that there will be a Deaf Adult Golf Clinic in Rochester on July 17, 2005. The clinic will start at 7 p.m. It is open for free admission to all Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing adults and it will be held at Ravenwood Golf Club (www.ravenwoodgolf.com) in Victor, New York.

Rob Strano will give an hour lecture/demonstration. Questions/answers will follow after the lecture. Private lessons will be provided during the week of the US Deaf Golf Championships (July 18-22, 2005). There is an advantage to having him as your instructor for golf lessons, he has good sign language skills, and will be able to communicate with deaf golfers . More information will be provided later.

Rob Strano has been an instructor for a number of deaf youth golf camps. He currently has plans to host about 10 Deaf Youth Golf camps in the country this year. He earned numerous awards and won many tournaments as a junior, high school and collegiate golfer. Mr Strano turned pro in 1988 and has had a successful career competing in Nationwide and PGA Tour events. He has played with top-notch PGA Tour players – David Duval, Curtis Strange, Jim Furyk, Lee Janzen, Shaun Micheel, Hal Sutton, Todd Hamilton, John Daly and David Toms.
