Dowell-Prewitt
April Gail Dowell and Tyson Darcell Prewitt were married May 19 at First Baptist Church by the Rev. Ronnie McCowan.
Kimberly Dowell of Lexington served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Natasha Guzman and Rhonda Blevins, both of Somerset, and Siobhon Prewitt, Destini Prewitt, Tenica Prewitt and Kyaira Prewitt, all of Danville. Flowergirls were Paris Prewitt and Kania Prewitt, both of Danville, and Keaira Thornton of Lexington.
Garry Prewitt of Danville was best man. Groomsmen were DeMarco Prewitt, Orlando Johnson, Shadon Brown, Buddy Trumbo and Antwann Yocum, all of Danville. Blake McCormack of Danville was ringbearer.
After a reception at Grow Hall, Kentucky School for the Deaf, the couple made a wedding trip to Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
The bride is the daughter of Chuck and Debbie Whitis of Somerset and Freamon and Judie Dowell of Waynesburg. She is a 2000 graduate of Pulaski County High School. She is an employee of Dawahare's.
The groom is the son of Sherry Prewitt and Greg Smith of Danville. He is a 2001 graduate of Danville High School and a student at Eastern Kentucky University. He is an employee of Salvation Army.
They live in Danville.
